Bio-Serv’s stainless steel mixing kettle is a self-contained, steam-jacketed unit that uniformly heats the contents to a temperature range of 150º to 295º F. The temperature is thermostatically controlled. The unit requires a single electrical connection (208-240 volts). The kettle is an ideal method of preparing and dispensing insect diet in one convenient container. It is a table mount model that tilts, with a shaped pouring lip to make dispensing easy. The steam jacketing helps to keep the diet warm while dispensing, preventing the diet from gelling too quickly. Using this kettle, you can prepare larger amounts of diet (10-40 liters) with the same ease as a 4-liter blender, greatly reducing your preparation time.
